    I think that what you said was actually very reasonable. However, what about this? what if you added a little content? I am not saying your information is not solid., however what if you added a title to maybe get folk's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is a little boring. You should look at Yahoo's front page and note how they write article headlines to get viewers to open the links. You might try adding a video or a picture or two to grab readers interested about everything've written. Just my opinion, it might make your posts a little livelier.
